This years Tax Free World Exhibition and Conference took place in Cannes, France from the 2nd to the 5th of October.
TR Partners inaugural exhibition took place in the Yellow Village in a 23sqm space. This year we curated a range of clean and wellness beauty brands specifically tailored for the new customer entering the global travel retail channel. Participating brands this year included; This Works, NCLA Beauty, Fekkai and Formulae Prescott.
We had the pleasure of hosting over 60+ meetings with retailers from every region and channel in the worldwide industry. The most important take away however was how every brand collaborated in the spirit of partnership at the exhibition, helping each other develop through learning and experience.
The 2023 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference drew 7,385 visitors, up +23% year-on-year, according to TFWA. The figure compares to 7,531 visitors at the 2019 event, which remains the visitor attendance record.
In the key sector of buyers and landlords, the 2023 event set a new record attendance of 2,761 delegates, up by +15% on the 2019 figure.
